The tote bag was sustainably handmade by using a thrifted baby blanket as the material. When I saw the fabric design on the blanket, I knew I wanted to make tote bags. I used the front of the blanket as the outside of the bag and the back of the blanket for the inside lining of the tote bag. I added a cotton jean material for the handles of the bag which paired nicely with the color scheme of the fabric. It is lightweight and because of its spaciousness, it can hold quite a bit of things.
